Counselling and Psychotherapy in Poundbury and Weymouth area DT1/DT3 within easy reach of Dorchester, Bridport, Portland, Yeovil, Sherborne and Blanford Forum. Flexible appointments available

Life events, traumatic experience, loss and bereavement can result in symptoms of anxiety, stress or depression, which can lead to relationship difficulties preventing you from living life to the full. It maybe that you have a sense of something not feeling right in your life without being able to pin that on anything in particular.

It could be that you have struggled with issues that have their origin many years ago and you feel it is now time to talk about them or that recent unexpected life changes have left you feeling overwhelmed.

Counselling can provide you with space to take some time-out to explore your thoughts and feelings about these matters. As you are reading this you have taken the first courageous step towards bringing about change.

After over 21 years of counselling experience in the South East, I have been counselling in Dorset since 2016 with therapy rooms in Poundbury, Dorchester and in the vicinity of Weymouth. As a BACP accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist, I am committed to providing counselling and psychotherapy in a safe, confidential and non judgmental environment, working in accordance with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy's 'Ethical Framework for Counselling Professions'. For more information about the BACP ethical framework just click here .
Additionally, I am a tutor and, having taught Integrative Counselling up to degree level 6, I currently, teach Counselling and Supervision at The Iron Mill College, Poole. I welcome trainee counsellors seeking therapy as part of their training and personal development however,to prevent the potential for dual relationship, I do not counsell Iron Mill College students.

I work with individuals on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period, with the aim of enabling you to enhance your life and to live it more fully.
